Hola my brethren,

I've recently got into the emulator world, and I really wanted to use a gamecube controller to relive my old glory days. I've encountered some issues however.
First off this is the adapter and controller I've got. Honestly the controller feels like shit, and even when I try tried to calibrate in windows the analog or buttons wouldn't
detect they are being pressed

Now as I understood from this mans video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uPOxsunNjP8

I had to install something called 'zadig' and modify the driver so that it became a recognizable device. I did so and followed his instructions (and yes I did have my mayflash adapter set
on 'Wii U mode'. Everything looks beautiful, I turn on Dolphin and try to go to controllers and all that is there is direct input for keyboard and mouse. When I tried to input my buttons when I set it
to 'standard controller' nothing worked. Most of what I've read has told me to stay on Wii U mode, it makes it recognizable by Dolphin however I have not had that luxury. Hoping someone can help me out, or tell me that my controller is garbage and maybe that might be it. It did say that dolphin recognized my adapter after zadig did its magic so part of me is leaning towards that.

Thanks boys

Instead of setting it to Standard Controller, you need to set it to GameCube Adapter for Wii U.

Apologies, I had already tried doing so. I didnt get a reponse and then tried switching from Gamecube Adapter for Wii U to Standard Controller.

Did you check if you got a response in-game? The controller configuration window isn't supposed to react to inputs when you're using an adapter in Wii U mode.

Yeah I did and I got nothing. Dolphin did say that it recognized my adapter however.

Which game are you playing, and did you check that the controller is inserted into port 1 rather than any of the other ports?

Would it be safe to assume that it is the controller? Or have you had this controller before?
