Hello,

I have question. Is it Legal for me to Develop my own game for this platform (with your support) Technically this is not the Wii , this is a Wii Emulator which is a Separate software. I have a game idea which I feel like this platform would be absolutely perfect for (of course , I wish the spec requirements were lower lol) but it is what it is maybe my developers and mac a game that may require some lower specs but even if they can't I'd really like to use this platform for my game idea.

Sure, you can legally write programs and games that can run in Dolphin. (As long as you're not using leaked Nintendo SDKs or any other copyrighted material you don't have the rights to, of course.) I can't promise any support from our side, but you can ask questions here on the forums if you want to.

Thank You, so just to clarify you are saying that I could build a game for the Dolphin Platform as long as I'm not using any leaked nintendo code ? I'm assuming it is possible to build a game for the platform without using this copy written code.

Yes. (Basically, there's no particular reason that writing games for Dolphin wouldn't be allowed, but it's illegal to do things that would be illegal even if Dolphin wasn't involved.)

Yes, it's possible. People have written homebrew games for the Wii in the past without using Nintendo SDKs. wiibrew.org has some information about tools that you can use legally, such as devkitPPC and libogc.

Yes. What you're referring to is called "homebrew" software. As long as you're not using Nintendo's code (or anyone else's code you don't have permission to use) it's perfectly fine.

Check out  something called devkitPPC. It'll help you write C/C++ programs for the Wii. There are a bunch of tutorials here for reference.

EDIT: wtf, ninja'd again!
