I'm new to Dolphin and recently installed it. I plan to play Netplay with 1 other person. I've played several past Emulators and they all had problems with desyncing.

My question: Is desync a big problem with Dolphin Netplay? Can I expect to play Netplay with no desyncs at all?

I can tell you that you have a very low chance of getting desyncs if you both have a stable 'net connection and you both run the game at full speed (or at least the same speed) in single-core with LLE audio (or HLE if it's a GameCube game using the AX ucode (e.g. any game not made by Nintendo's internal dev teams) and you're using a current development build of Dolphin). If you find those requirements impossible, lesser requirements *may* work fine, but don't be surprised if they don't. :\
