deleted save file?

hey everyone,

i've been playing zelda - wind waker for a while now. i was very close to the end when i accidentally deleted the rom file from my computer.

is the save state stored in a different location? or did i loose all my progress?

if i download a new rom file, can i recover my old save state?

please let me know! thanks

savegames = user/wii/title
savestates = user/savestates

just dump a new rom... downloading the rom is illegal and not supported from this community

I have never played this game, but as far as i am aware Wind Waker is a GameCube game.

In that case: Saved games = User/GC

To answer your question more precisely, yes, savegames/savestates are stored in a different location than the ROM and deleting the ROM should not affect the savegames in any way.
