This build is made to run Melee in HD and PM in HD. That's it. I was wondering what you guys thought of this build

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/s3YTf7

The reason I'm using such a weak CPU is because I've seen a weaker CPU without SSE4/4+ playing Melee at fullspeed.

Are you sure ? Athlon 5350 is a desktop SOC , it's trash
First gen i5 @ 2.5GHz + GT 540M barely run Melee at fullspeed (2.5xIR of course)

There's a video of a A6-3400M running Melee at what seems to be fullspeed. Let me go get it

a6 3400m isn't a soc , it's full pledge cpu (llano) with turbo core up to 2.3GHz . Therefore a6 3400m should be a faster cpu , not slower
Btw , turbo core will never work with any application . Most llano owner i know use k10stat to overclock it to 2.3ghz (for example, @Starscream and his a6 3400m)

Ignore all the crap at the top and look at the geekbench 3 single core scores. The Athlon 5350 has a better single core score.

Plus that Video is from 2 years ago. Dolphin has gotten faster since then

a6 3400m stock speed is 1.4ghz
Starscream told me that the turbo core feature helped it go up to 1.6 GHz not 2.3GHz . So benchmark has nothing to do here
I'm sure the one who made the video had his cpu overclocked to 2.3GHz
Base on data i gathered from @SS , that oced apu can run melee nearly full speed with some hiccups (1xIR and lags) .
I believe higher IR will require more cpu performance

Eh I might as well but the thing is, I'm trying to keep the cost as low as possible while being able to play Melee and PM in HD. :x The reason I'm building this is for the cheapest build to get into using Dolphin for Smash Bros.

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/kpcTf7

This is the 'new' build. (I know this one will work but I want to try that other one so badly)
