Im playing brawl and just pushing the arrows will make the character run instead of walk. I wish there was an option to double tap but yea is there any way i can decrease the sensitivity so that i can walk instead of sprint? im using the latest version of dolphin

The modifier setting, when pressed in addition to the joystick, makes the joystick only move halfway.
Main Laptop:
Dell XPS 17
i7 2720QM @ 2.2GHz
8GB DDR3 RAM
Nvidia GeForce GT 555M
Windows 7 64-bit

I am having the same problem with Wind Waker using the mirror shield. Using the modifier only decreases the range slightly -- not nearly 1/2. My analog controller usis the non-numberpad arrow keys
Thanks for any help

You need to use a joystick.
I had the same problem for a while, then I started using a DS3 and it works great.

I'm not sure if anyone is still looking for a solution to this, but at least for the "Wind Waker mirror shield"-problem using TAS-Input works great. do the following:

1. Make sure there are no more enemies in your vicinity ( Wink )
2. Look in the direction you want to reflect the light and get your sword out (so you will use the shield when pressing the "R"-button)
3. Go to the Dolphin-window, select the "Emulation"-chart and click "TAS Input"

Now please look at the picture I attached

4. Put the right "Shoulder Buttons"-slider to its maximum (Link will take out his shield)
5. Use the vertical "Main Stick"-slider to adjust the shield deflection to the required state

you don't have to set the values back to their original value, just close the TAS Input window after you are done

this method of course won't help with brawl, but in situations where you have to stand still and aim carefully (like when deflecting the light with your mirror shield)
