Hi,
I'm playing LOZ:TP on 3.0, and my CPU takes it up the butt when I'm in the field or a dense location such as the town square. How can I help my game run smoother w/o doing something stupid like turining off lighting or fog, which both dramatically change the game. My GPU doesn't seem to have any problems, its a GeForce GTX 560 Ti (1gb). My cpu is Phenom II x4 965 (3.4mhz). I've tried overclocking my CPU but it doesn't yield any noticable difference.
I am of course using ZTP hack and the other recommended settings on the wiki. Would changing my resolution from 3x native to 1x native have any effect on my cpu? Or is that purely a gpu aspect? I am aware that it is in the graphics settings section and is directly related to my gpu, but my knowledge is a bit fuzzy as to whether the cpu has to process frames according to the output resolution, or if the gpu simply interprets the data generated by the cpu and outputs based on its own capabilities.
Thanks.
