It's not like it's far away from now.. Someone will just bump this topic in 2 years on Dec 22 2012, quote you, and say "fail". That's my prophecy.

Anyway, the end of the world for new console emulation might be around the corner. If systems become much more powerful than PS3/Xbox360 (which are already impossible to emulate on a pc), we wont be seeing any next gen emulators since PC's are failing to catch up or significantly boost performance.
