You're not thinking fourth dimensionally! If you get the delorian to 88mph at the exact second the clock reaches midnight, you could skip into the future by one second, skewing the time line into a sperate time line, so that when the entire universe is destroyed, a new time line will appear and everyone would immediately be transfered into that time line!

also, IF it is true and we all die on that day
it is impossible for us to survive
the only way out is to move away from this galaxy
and for that we need to find a way to make artificial air&food and have loads of spaceships that are 1891891101894 times faster then our current spaceship technology
and there is no way in hell we can do that in 2 years so ye HAVE FUN BEING DEAD SOON

LOL , We can't even go to the moon and you're thinking in going to another galaxy ( We didn't do it in 1969 and we won't do it when the galaxy explodes or whatever )
