Hello, im having some troubles emulating Dead Space Extraction, i was very exited to be able to play this game, but i've tried tweaking here and there on the Dolphin (latest SVN rev) options but i cant get the game speed to be acceptable

In the menu screen i get bout 70% speed and as soon as the game starts i get bout 40%-50% and its just not right, the game sound seems to be at the right speed, when someone says something theyre mouths keep moving after the speech plays and i that's something i can't stand.

Someone told me to try some old revs and i was able to get some improvement in speed mostly in the menu screen but the audio was messed up. I dont know if its because of my hardware:

Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit
2gb ram
AMD x2 4400+ 2.4Ghz (2 cores)
Ati 4890HD 1Gb
Latest Ati drivers and C++ redistributable installed

Appreciate any suggestions.

Your cpu is weak for Dolphin (your gpu is just fine on the other hand), and it is quite normal to be slow, it is about the minimum someone should have to run Dolphin. Recommended cpu specs are way above that (core2 duo at 3.2 ghz at least and more cores don't help with dolphin much). Your cpu performance wise is about the same as a core 2 duo at 2 Ghz, maybe less.

I have a phenom II 1090T (6 core) @ 3.6Ghz and its not fast enough either.

The problem is definitely related to dead space, and not his CPU power.

I have c2d e8400 with 4Gb of RAM with 5870 radeon. obviously your gfx is up to date, but this game needs serious computing power under dolphin. I overclocked to 4.14Ghz and game ran smoothly after that. Prior to OC game crashed always on the 2. level barricade plaza scene(also the game speed was quite low). Dolphin can use only 3 threads so you multicore users should have better luck when making sound as its own thread. Fiddling with the openCL setting might do some good, altough it didn't help me any.

is that the 'DPSLLE on another thread' option? thats not a bad idea for getting a speed up.
