I ordered a DBPower Wii Remote from Amazon based on one of the verified buyers stating that they did in fact get it to work on Dolphin unlike other buyers.

http://www.amazon.com/gp/review/R1DUB0M03ZXP3C/ref=cm_cr_pr_rvw_ttl?ASIN=B00CCZ9VDI

Does anyone know how he got it to work? I am having issues. Luckily it was cheap when i purchased it.

Try Toshiba Stack...
Keep in mind that using multi-bluetooth software will cause driver conflicting issue , you should use one at the time and uninstall the rest

I borrowed a DBPower Wii Remote from a friend to test it with dolphin before ordering one, but actually i am using MacOS 10.10 on a Macbook and it doesn't even show up in the bluetooth devices list.
I had a original controller some years back, there was no problem.

Any experiences with this one?

As we always say, fake/3rd-party Wiimotes are hit or miss, many of them doesn't work with Dolphin. Only genuine Nintendo Wiimotes are guaranteed to work...
