Darwiin not working for gamecube controls. HELP!!

Hello.

I am trying to use the Darwiin program for gamecube controls for dolphin. Darwiin is a program that lets your Wii Remote emulate keystrokes. For instance, I hav the 2 button on the my Wii Remote set as the A button on my keyboard. I also have the A key on my keyboard mapped out as the A button on the Gamecube controller. But when I press 2 nothing happens!!! I know that Darwiin is working because when I press 2 while i'm in a text field "A" gets entered. I know I have the Dolphin Gamecube controls mapped out correctly. But when I press the 2 button on the wii remote while im in a game nothing happens. But when i actually press the A button on my keyboard then it works. It's weird because I also have
the - button mapped out as the pause game command and that works fine. It's like dolphin has blocked Darwiin from affecting the actual game.

If you hav any ideas on why this is happening, please reply. Any help I can get would be GREAT!!! Thanks

I once tried using Darwiin remote for that very purpose, and it also didn't work. I think it has to do with how OS X handles inputs and how Dolphin handles inputs. I think that Darwiin sends the input command at a higher level than Dolphin reads it, so commands don't always work.
