Damaged Memory Card?

I was playing a gamecube game (spongebob) when all of a sudden the autosave feature was turned off due to "the memory card being damaged" I have tried numerous times to try and fix it but it keeps saying "Save Failed! The memory card in slot A is Damaged and cannot be used" Any help?

I do have a save state in the area i am in if i have to delete the memory card.

Try this program, it may be able to extract your save from the damaged memory card image. You can then import the save into a new formatted card image.
