You arent going to like this but your CPU is far from powerful. 2.2 Ghz is a very low clock speed and while WW is not a demanding game, it may cause you issues if you are using LLE. Can you post your settings please?

Also when you refer to Assassin's Creed, is that a PC game? Unfortunately, if so, you cannot compare the two in terms of performance.

Dolphin is based on per core speed and really only uses 2 cores, so 2 cores at 2.2 GHz just is not all that fast for emulation.

Yes, please post screenshots of all your settings in Graphics and Audio.

haddockd, don't forget that the 2670QM can use Turbo Boost to run at higher clocks (while simultaneously disabling some cores). 2.2GHz is the rate with no Turbo Boost, and it's probably that low by design since it's a laptop and battery life is a concern. The OP should look into the Laptop Performance Guide and verify that Turbo Boost is enabled and working (anything higher than 2.2GHz means it's working, basically).

To further answer the OP's question, LLE refers to Low-Level Emulation. In Dolphin, we usually mean LLE audio. Some games need LLE audio because the sound doesn't work properly with High-Level Emulation (HLE) audio. LLE audio is more demanding on the CPU, so the CPU needs to be faster to properly run LLE audio. If you click the Config button and go to the Audio tab, you'll see options for selecting HLE and LLE audio. In Dolphin 4.0 or newer, Dolphin automatically uses LLE audio for Wind Waker (this is set by configuration files, .ini game settings).
