I'm hoping this should be stable enough to take a rest.

Mostly just some code cleanups/refactoring. Also fixed tools that have invalid paths that can do registry grabs, although I also remembered to clear out the paths this time. I forgot to mention it before but in the last one I linked (debug 2) I implemented some texture list stuff in combine/split (progress, elapsed, etc.). It never worked before because they do not use the "master loop" like most of the other operations.

I also missed it before because of all the text, if you meant it was your birthday... then Happy Birthday! Funny thing is, mine was yesterday. Tongue

Hehe, thanks. I must have missed that yesterday, in which case, Happy Birthday to you too. I shall remember that for next year, to keep in mind Smile.

Anyway, I was testing the new update and I noticed that the Load CTT File option (Combine Multiple Textures) displayed the following warning:

"Error: The texture specified in the CTT file could not be found! Loading the CTT will now be aborted."

All 40 textures are found in the folder Child Night which is located in the root where the CTT file is, which is in the same folder as the script.

Might the Load CTT File for Combine Multiple Textures actually refer to the Load CTT File for Split Combined Multi-Texture? It seems to be searching for a singular texture.

That was intentional if for example "Child Night.png" is missing / not in the same folder as the CTT file. When loading, it looks for the previous "combined texture", or the upscaled replacement, in order to calculate some of the other values. The idea was combine the texture, get a CTT/image, upscale the image (keep it in the same folder as CTT), then load the CTT and all "Split" values such as overlap and garbage crop are auto-calculated from the new dimensions. I can probably work around this if you are just using the CTT file for the combine option and not keeping that image around.

I usually keep an 1x scale of the combined image around with the CTT file should I need to upscale it again from the start (saves me little a bit of time not to process that again), but due all this testing I had to test it from scratch to see if there weren't any issues anymore. I only kept the CTT file around so that I didn't need to re-arrange them again. The CTT files are the most important, since it saves me the hassle of doing the whole re-arranging again on the grid.

I forgot to mention it, but I tend to keep the combined images and the CTT files together in pairs in the same folder.

Sometimes I tend to misplace the textures on the grid, so I have to throw away the combined image, load the last CTT file, fix it by swapping the images on the grid to make it correct and then process the 1x scale combined image again.

This should work the way you want.

If the texture is not found, it just won't try to calculate "Insert Pixel Overlap" and "Restore Garbage Pixel" values, rather than fail and shoot errors like before.

Edit: It will still say "b8" in the title. My mistake, I forgot rename it internally. Fixed FWIW.

Edit: It "should" just use the combine overlap/garbage values in split rather than try to calculate them if the texture is MIA.

Uhh ohh.

No errors this time when doing everything from scratch again, but the 40 textures turned out to have a size of 2624x80 instead of 2592x64 (8x upscale).

But I have to continue this tomorrow again.

Well hopefully it will work once again by then. I think my brain is just fried at this point, so I probably made a dumb mistake somewhere. I was able to merge the function for overlapping/cropping since they were nearly identical, so it's probably where the issue lies. Before I upload again, I'll make sure to test everything to make sure it works this time.
