Well I figured it had to be something like that because my problem was singled out on one PC, once I switched to running it on another PC it worked. I haven't had any problems like that since then.

Is it just me having no success when using the waifu2x upscaler? I've tried all of the obvious troubleshooting steps and can't get it working.

Going by the specs in your sig it appears you are using integrated graphics by Intel and waifu2x relies on nvidia CUDA. Any version of waifu2x (such as Caffe) "should" work if you check "Disable GPU" but it will be slow. Waifu2x-CPP may also work using OpenCL but I'm not sure, I've never tried using either version on integrated graphics.

This should probably get stickied at some point. Since you're pretty much done with the tool, it's bound to get lost in the sea of texture packs. With how useful this could potentially be to all pack creators/contributors, it would be a shame.

I would upvote your comment! Without this tool, I could never have started/finished porting texture packs for Super Smash Bros, Super Mario 64, Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask (with the help of masterotaku) for the Virtual Console. This tool was a life saver and prevented me from going mad. At least with this tool, no one should have any excuses anymore why their texture packs are not available in DDS format. I don't know how Bighead got the idea of starting creating this tool, but it certainly did change the way of how HD Texture Pack Projects were made for Dolphin.

And having a GUI for this tool was definitely the biggest improvement. The average time to perform a task must be cut in half, or even more.

If you're interested in how the tool came to be, you can actually click the help button in the GUI and go to the About section. Bring a snack though, it's long :p

Now I feel totally stupid. I never really paid any attention to the Help button, simply because the GUI worked so well and never got stuck with it.
