I used the ISO builder in this thread: http://smashboards.com/threads/project-m-3-5-online-via-dolphin-netplay-setup-optimization-guide-3-5-ready.346700/

I've done this twice so far, and even if I delete the builder and the ISO, nothing changes. This doesn't happen on the console, so I figured it was something with Dolphin.

To sum it up, I know how to add custom content into the ISO for Dolphin, but if I delete the ISO and even the entirety of the builder folder, I still get custom stage textures. I've re-downloaded and re-built the ISO without changing anything except for the music, yet nothing happens, I'm still getting custom textures.

Now that I think of it, the previous builder had options to separate the save from Brawl, and if I remember correctly the last thing I did with the last version of the builder and PM version was have it share the save file. Could this be the issue?

Let me see if I'm following, you build the PM iso, and only when you run it in Dolphin are you getting specific stage textures that are custom when you don't want them to be custom?

Are your custom textures part of the ISO, or are they being loaded through the directory in Documents? I.e., do you have "load custom textures" checked in your graphics config?

Correct.

They are a part of the ISO, I do not have "load custom textures" checked.

Did you ever use to run PM through Dolphin off an SD card?

No, I remember thinking of trying and about halfway through the process I decided to scrap the idea.

Did you ever get any files loaded into Dolphin? Cause it might be trying to load those.

A good way to check is to create a blank .txt file named "portable.txt" in the folder with your Dolphin.exe. This will allow you to run Dolphin separate from your global save info to test if it's loading any custom stages, or if the iso is bonkers.

I don't believe so, I remember getting the Virtual SD Card builder, building the card but not using it.

I did as you said and it still ran with custom content, even the music this time. Which actually is the first time I've added music this time around.

However, the ISO builder folder does not contain any of the custom stages, only the BRTSM music pack. I remember I deleted the builder and everything to do with it, then I re-downloaded it, added the brtsms to the builder's "projectm" folder, along with the info.pac under "info2", and built the ISO. I did not replace any stage files.

EDIT: Ok so, I deleted and re-dumped my Brawl ISO, and deleted the PM ISO, even all of the custom content. I re-downloaded the builder, I did not modify it, and I re-built the ISO using my fresh SSBB dump. Still, no results, even when using the empty portable.txt file.

Could there be leftover data that is telling the builder to load custom textures/sounds? try moving the custom files that are on your computer to another location and then rebuild the iso.

Another question: doesn't PM change certain textures automatically?

Just add the textures to the pm files before running the builder.
