I'd suggest uploading it into a github branch to please him
Custom D3D Version with massive performance boost and a lot of rendering fixes

Are you saying that the exe you create was literally created from cloning galop1n's repository and opening the solution in visual studio without modification, then build? If no, then yes - I'll be removing it again because it still does not provide the source code used to create that executable. Describing how to obtain this source is not enough.
People, if you start making modifications to our source code and publish builds about it - can you at least be so nice and follow the license conditions we provided the source code to you originally? It's not like uploading source code is rocket science when you are able to build the source and upload the binary apparently. EDIT: Btw, please don't attach these things to our forums - use a third party hoster instead, e.g. mediafire (and github for the source code). 08-05-2014, 08:37 PM

I have a github, but it's a pain the ass to upload a completely new repositorie from a local source... Also I was uploading here since it was quicker and more convenient... sorry I'm wasting your bandwidth..

Thanks. It's not just us trying to be pedantic, we usually do look at the source code to get ideas on how to improve the emulator. So when people claim huge improvements and don't provide us with any way to reproduce that and/or look at how they are implemented, we tend to be a bit angry.

It looks like whatever galop1n did to optimize the Direct3D renderer fixed issue 5185. I'm not getting the distorted aspect ratio in the NTSC version of Metroid Prime 3: Corruption anymore. I hope he returns soon.

So is the source galop1n uploaded likely different from the builds he provided? I don't recall the issues being reported with the provided source being present with the builds he provided.

I hope that these changes would be merged to the master branch someday, someday.

Though I understand the difficulty involved... |
