Cursor movement problem

I play ben 10 alien force and it has a cursor in the game. when i start it it says to create a new profile and for it there is a keyboard appears from which i can type the letters . but the problem is i can type them by bringing the mouse poinyer to the letter and press left click.for this i have done settings of my mouse in it . but when i move the mouse up the game pointer also goes up but immidiately come to the centre everytime .PLEASE HELP

This problem is in version 3.0 but in version SVN R 5152 its all right
