    Hey!

First, Dolphin is amazing.

Viewtiful Joe is great, and Mario Sunshine work awesome, especially since I got my new SN 30 pro+ by 8bitdo.

However, I cannot seem to get touch controls working on Wii Emulation. Can't really play New Super Mario Bros Wii, I need the cursor to save the game, even exit the level I think.

Any help?
Thanks for any input!

New Super Mario Bros. Wii doesn't use the pointer whatsoever. All menu navigation is done with the d-pad.

Keep in mind that the option to exit a level can't be selected until you've beaten that level once.

Ooohhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

I have forgotten. Let me play some more, I thought there was a problem.

question, if cursor is not needed, then will the touch cursor not show up? Maybe I should try another game. Like Mario Galaxy or something.

Hey, Super Mario Galaxy on my phone, I can't get anything to show up as far as a pointer.

When mapping the buttons, I set the IR to the right analog stick, fwiw.

Any other ideas? Thanks for helping so far.

Run Mario Galaxy and then bring up the emulation menu. In overlay controls tap on motions controls. Select don't use device sensors and that should enable the pointer. One thing to note, pointer emulation is cpu heavy so you may experience lag. Enable the skip EFB access from CPU speed hack whenever you don't need to use the pointer for level progression.

Hey, ok, thanks for the input!

I think I got it working now!

Question, does turning off motion controls turn off the shaking and tilting needed for New Mario Bros Wii?

Yes, it does. You'll want the middle option if you want to control the pointer with the touch screen while still using motion controls for other things.
