Well, maybe not all the cards have + fps in dolphin with this drivers. In my gtx i get +9 fps, in other series i dunno. Test mkwii and smg(Show fps on, and remember, the fps increase happen without OpenCL) and tell us the results. 02-19-2010, 09:35 PM

Sorry mods if I'm not supposed to post links, but there are a "new" nvidia beta drivers 196.34 avaiable ....
http://forums.guru3d.com/showthread.php?t=314172 - Supports OpenCL 1.0 (Open Computing Language) for all GeForce 8-series and later GPUs. From my understanding a lot of people who still prefer 188.x (i.e.188.43) non-OpenCL series over any newer released drivers. I’ll try to run some benchmarks this weekend with different drivers in the mix. I do recommend using driver sweeper utility to clean video driver leftovers prior installing new ones. And yes PLEASE use at your own risk :-) BTW... what is the best method to benchmark Dolphin?

Well u can test dolphin using "show fps options" and test all the possible audio and video configurations. (opengl, d3d, antialias off/on, progresive scan, vertycal sync, DirectSound, OpenAL). Im not an expert but thats my personal opinion. |
