Have there been any updates in regards to getting CTGP running on Dolphin? I've seen some videos of people using it on Dolphin but there doesn't seem to be any released method.

There's some kind of icache problem on the track replacement games.

While not wholly relevant to CTGP, I just wanted to add that I've currently got Wiimm's mods (Retro and Fun packs) running on Dolphin. The level select menu is bugged under the default JIT recompiler, but if you change to the JITIL recompiler it works. I was able to get in game with everything working perfectly on a few custom tracks throughout both packs.

When you refer to track replacement games, do you mean like those I listed above?

Yes. They don't properly clear the icache, which results in undocumented behavior. If they properly did icache clearing, we wouldn't have an issue with them. Properly emulating the icache state would make the emulator exponentially slower (impossible to run fullspeed)

Maybe they could fix the issue in the game itself, instead of relying on unodcumented behavior? Or maybe something else is wrong; but either way, them helping us could fix it a lot easier; as they understand what the game is doing.

It is not "undocumented behaviour" to expect the instruction cache to function exactly as the processor manual describes it. The mistake here is clearly Dolphin failing to emulate the hardware correctly, don't try to place the blame elsewhere.

Apologies; I guess I didn't understand exactly what was going on. Whenever I'd explain the problem to developers, that was the feeling I was getting; that it was something the game/hack was doing that it really shouldn't.

In other words, Chadderz has a brain of cheddar cheese, and MrBean is a beanhead.
In other words, the creators intentionally made it incompatible with Dolphin, last time I checked.

They were the people who made whole new servers to play on and put hours upon hours of work into making it. I wouldn't call them cheese heads and beanheads Undecided

Nope. They aren't.

MrBean and Chadderz made CTGP.
Wiimm and me made Wiimmfi, the servers you can use to play MKWii and CTGP and other Wii games on.
