cStick not recognized even though it work in config screen

DS3 v 0.7.0000
PS3 dualshock controller

Issue is the c-stick will not work in games. I setup following the tutorial and checked the post on configuring as well but no luck. In the controller mapping area for Gamecube, I can set the right stick up and even see action in the little box below if I wiggle it so it is registering. It just is inoperable in the game.

No problem with the left analog stick (nor any button mapping) at all though. I tried using the DX (directx) and Xinput (xbox) profiles in DS3 tool but exact same results, everything works but the c-stick controls.

You're using an out of date version of Dolphin; try using the latest revisions at http://dolphin-emu.org/download. It may help with the issue.

If it doesn't, please tell us which games you're trying to play and post a screenshot of your GCpad configuration.

Here are my controller settings in Dolphin. I was using Metroid Prime 2 and Pikmin to test. Everything was good but no C-stick controls. No problems with left analog for movement.

You should ditch MotionInJoy:

Simple solution: don't use motion in joy . The SCP drivers are way better. No ads, more reliable, easier to use, set and forget bluetooth, open source, and run by a nice guy that actually will talk to you.

I'll try the SCP as the DS3 gets annoying by dropping off if inactive for more than a minute or two and them you may have to manually enable in the program. I loaded the most up to date version of Dolphin per your link.

I actually realized that the cstick is working, somewhat. I used the keyboard for controls to see if DS3 was part of the problem and in doing so I came up with mixed results.
I also was not familiar with the controls of Pikmin as I never played it before. So, the DS3 is working, I just did not get far enough in the game to where the CStick is actually used.

It doesn't work in Metroid Prime 2 while playing but it does work to rotate the map around when you pause the game oddly enough. Keyboard controls have the same exact reaction. So this is either a Dolphin issue or I need a patch to the game ISO.

In Metroid Prime 2, I think you only use the C-Stick to switch between different beams (maybe some other things as well like the map). It isn't used like other FPS games where the C-Stick moves the view left/right and up/down. How far are you into the game? Do you have Dark or Light beams to switch around? You can always download a completed save from GameFAQs as a .GCI and then import it into your emulated memory card file; that way you can test it without having to play the whole game.

Thanks for the help. The SCP drivers are awesome and make using the controllers as smooth as butter.
