Hey i am a first time dolphin user and once setting up everything i tried to load up a game and the error d3dx11_42.dll came up and could not load a game. I do indeed have directx11 on my computer i am using the OS windows 8 on dolphin 4.02 i changed the back bend to opengl but it just doesnt seem to work very well i was hoping you guys could help me solve my problem. btw the error only comes up when i use backbend dx11

I changed the backbend to dx9 but it is till pretty low performance opengl is better at this point but on the dolhpin webstie it was saying AMD is better for dx11 and i have amd procsessor

Try these:
0) Update to windows 8.1. Its free
1) Update drivers, Windows updates, , and latest version of Visual C++
2) Make sure under Power Management in Windows you're running in High Performance, and are plugged in to power. Also set a high performance profile under Catalyst Control center
3) Use the OpenGL backend on one of the latest dev builds, as it is faster than D3D. The current dev build is 4.0-706
