Every time I try to load a game using OpenGL as the renderer the app crashes within a few seconds of not rendering anything, whereas the software renderer works just fine (albeit at 0-1FPS), running on android 4.4.2 unrooted, what am I doing wrong?

I was getting these crashes too with most recent builds on my Note 3.

These crashes only seemed to happen on 4.3 and lower firmware as once I upgraded to 4.4.2 every build worked without crashing.

The Galaxy S4 is known to have issues with the GLES 3.0 drivers for some reason and you may have to enter the terminal commands required to patch it.

Sorry for the stupid question. How do I enter those commands? Which program?

you need the terminal emulator from the play store(it's like the terminal on Ubuntu and anything related to Linux but on android) and you need root to be able to run the commands as root(su) or they won't work
Mac OSX/Windows Partition i7 2.5Ghz&Turbo 3.7Ghz with Intel Iris Pro Graphics+NVIDIA GT 750 2GB & 16GB RAM
Mobile- LG G2 D800 4.4.2/PS Vita/Nintendo 3Ds/Gameboy Advance/Nexus 9
Consoles- Xbox 360 Slim 250gb/PS3 Slim 250gb/Nintendo Wii//Nintendo Gamecube/Nintendo 64/Sony PlayStation One

Thanks for the response. That's what I did before I asked and it wouldn't recognize the commands. I.am.rooted on 4.4. I'll give it anither try. Appreciate the help!
