Whenever I try to open up the dolphin emulator, it just doesn't open, and if I try to go onto a stable version, like 5.0, it opens but then immediately crashes. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling it, and resetting my computer, but nothing seems to work, is there a way to fix this?

Can you delete (and backup, if you have save files) the dolphin emulator folder in documents? Also, can you (re)install the 64 bit visual c++ runtime? https://aka.ms/vs/16/release/vc_redist.x64.exe

IDK. Restart your computer and remove any extra usb devices?
Edit: Found a thread with similar issues. https://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Thread-do...windows-10 Make sure your laptop is plugged in (if it is even a laptop), and you don't have any third party dlls loading. If you don't know what 3rd party dlls you have, you could try windows 7 compatibility mode. 12-25-2019, 10:46 AM
Ok so 1. I have a desktop, not a laptop, just wanted to say that. 2. I don't have any third party dlls loading 3. I've tried running it in windows 7 compatibility mode. 4. I've restarted my pc and I unplugged every single usb on my pc except for the mouse, and its still not working.
