Crashing

I'm using the latest developmental version of Dolphin for the Shield TV. I can access all settings other than enhancements and hacks. When I try to open them the app crashes. Any particular reason why? I've tried uninstalling the app and reinstalling. That doesn't help.

Could someone post an apk of the official 5.0 version? Would like someone more stable, even if compatibility isn't as good (since it's older). Thanks.

If not, you can remove all the app data ("clear data" in the android app settings) and delete the whole /sdcard/dolphin-emu folder. That should reset any settings, and restore it to as if it's been installed for the first time (which can be a bit annoying as it loses all the stuff like onscreen controller position etc.) but should 'always' fix issues like this.

You should be able to fix the problem by deleting /sdcard/dolphin-emu/ without clearing the app's data, which will delete almost everything except for the onscreen button positions.

I really should start looking into a proper fix for this...

Hi I have the same problem with my shield...Ive been testing and with 3xxx versions doesnt occur

Shield? TV or Tablet. Was broken on ShieldTV; dolphin-master-5.0-5328 confirmed as fixed or a bit more stable.(Yesterday)

So please feel encouraged to fetch the stack trace or to check the exact verison, when this regression started.

I found another issue - this time caused by changing a graphics setting from a single section, entering game then exiting. This would remove the section headers for the empty (default) sections, which the Android UI wouldn't handle correctly and crash the next time you tried to enter that section's settings menu.

I had a go at fixing this in https://github.com/dolphin-emu/dolphin/pull/6034 - you can get the apk at https://dl.dolphin-emu.org/prs/pr-6034-d...latest.apk

Please let me know if that fixes your issues
