So I got Dolphin installed and when I try to open a game, it freezes then crashes, please help.

We need more information. What message does Windows display when it crashes? Perhaps more importantly, what version of Windows are you using and is it up-to-date? Additionally, what specific games are you trying to play?

If you have the time, please post your Dolphin settings as screenshots so we can see what you have.

First off, it doesn't display any message. Version is windows 10, and it is not up-to-date. I have no games installed, yet. I just press open/set game directory and it just crashes without a message.

Windows doesn't even display the "Program_XYZ is not responding" generic message or Dolphin just runs then exits? You may get more some more detailed information if you launch Dolphin's executable from the Windows command-line (or PowerShell if that's your thing); it should print out some kind of message detailing what went wrong.
