I put in a few hours of play time on the debug build and got zero crashes. I'll continue testing to be sure but it looks promising.

I've tested the debug build. It crashes (Specialized/Dual Core), and it gives the following message:
Warning GFX FIFO: Unknown Opcode (Oxc3 @ Ox6e09e21fd3, preprocess=false). This means one of the following: The emulated GPU got desynced, disabling dual core can help Command stream corrupted by some spurious memory bug *This really is an unknown opcode (unlikely) *Some other sort of bug Further errors will be sent to the Video Backend log and Dolphin will now likely crash or hang. Enjoy. ___________ illegal command c3 CPBase: 0x0054d920 CPEnd: Ox005ad900 CPHiWatermark: Ox0005c000 CPLoWatermark: 0x00050000 CPReadWriteDistance: 0x00000060 CPWritePointer: 0x0054d980 CPReadPointer: 0x0054d920 CPBreakpoint: 0x005705a0 bFF- GPReadEnable: false bFF. It sometimes slows down on Metroid Prime 2 but it never crashed. 02-16-2022, 09:02 AM
Yes, the debug build I posted does nothing about crashes that only happen when using dual core. The only reliable way to avoid those is to turn off dual core.
