I'm in the process of assembling components for a PC I'm building. As lots of people here know, I'm looking for low power components. On craigslist I found a never used core i7-6700t (35W) for $200. That was out of my budget it usually sells for over $300 online so I had to check it out.
I meet the person and look at the CPU. It was in a plain brown box and hard plastic container. No documentation. No fan. Just a MASSIVE heatsink. I google the number stamped on the bottom of the cpu and it brings up this:
http://www.cpu-world.com/CPUs/Itanium_2/...1715M.html
Watch what you buy on craigslist. I knew no one would be selling a new i7 for $100 cheaper than it sells for on Amazon.
