I will make this as detailed as possible. I have a desktop running Windows Vista 32 bit. I am attempting to get an xbox 360 wireless controller (but I have it wired to the computer) up and running. I plugged the controller in and it downloads and installs ok. I then downloaded something called NSMBWii + DKCR and made sure I changed the extension to ini. Then I proceeded to the Config folder in my Dolphin folder and created Profiles folder. In that folder I created a Wiimote folder, I placed the NSMBWii + DKCR.ini file inside. Then I started up the Dolphin Emulator and went to GCPad, under the pad 1 tab in the device area was Dinput/0/Keyboard Mouse, so I moved onto the Pad 2 tab which was clear, in the profile area I clicked the drop down arrow and nothing was there. So I then clicked "load" and nothing happened. I then wrote the title of my ini file, which is NSMBWii + DKCR.ini, in the profile box and then once again clicked load and still nothing happened. So I then attempted to simply read the ini file and type everything in manually but I can't input anything with the xbox controller or the mouse. The entire time I am attempting to set up the controller the xbox button on it has a green flashing ring around it. So basically, what I am asking is why can't I load an ini file into the profile area. Am I doing this wrong or is the controller not installed on my computer correctly or what? Thanks for any help.
Could someone pleeeze help me with Xbox 360 controller

Drop your .ini files at .../User/Config/Profiles/Wiimote and they should show up, no need to create any new folder and you're suppose to configure the wiimote and not the GCPad as both games are for the wii
......?????
Addendum: In the Wiimote Emulation configuration, make sure you go to Pad 1, as that's the first players controller.
Click on the device dropdown box, and select your controller there. Then attempt to load your ini. |
