I just did a fresh install of windows and went from Windows 8.0 to Windows 8.1......... btw I personally loved 8.0 and 8.1. (8.1 desktop space sliders actually work outstanding now!!!!, have desktop and app window open in as many window segments as you want, runs smooth as shit too on my ASUS G75VW)

On this install I installed the freshest newest version of Dolphin. The clean install helped out a little bit. I remembered two things I used in the past but had forgot to try on previous install. These make a huge difference in game smoothness.

First off I went on and turned off all CPU core parking on my system. Here is the app i use..... read more from website.

Second I used this little gem........ Iobit Game Booster. Run this and point it to Dolphin. This worked out 100x better then game setting in AVG.

All in all........ all the games that were showing hitches here and there have become much much smoother. Give it a try!!!

Actually, we had Core parking on Dolphin itself on old versions, which is giving better performance than this. It's removed on 4.x because someone thinks it's not useful.
