I'll consider it if it's absolutely essential for overclocking (i KNOW i can't overclock well enough on the stock cooler though). The V6 isn't too out of my range of flexibility. Noctua coolers seem to come at premium costs though...

The one you're planning on isn't really that much greater than stock at overclocking. Noctuas do carry a nice tag, but they come with some awesome fans, and temps. The H50 is actually pretty good at holding an overclock, the H70 should be better.

Well i did find a Noctua fan cooler that ended up balancing out rather well in price with the Cooler Master i had. The shipping ended up helping anyways. How's this one?

Don't know, I've never dealt with their 92mm coolers. I have the 120mm version, and it kept my 920 cool at 4ghz though.

dont think that one is that much better than stock...

Checkout my latest project ( it is a program that downloads and compiles dolphin on mac and linux now): http://code.google.com/p/dolphin-emu-downloader (It's unofficial and maintained by me, not the dolphin dev team)

I'll probably go with the Cooler Master V6. Still doing some decision making though. If the heatsinks i was considering are barely better than stock, it's not worth it.
