Hi guys, I admit i am at my wits end. Before I ended up buying Wii i played couple of games in Dolphin. My biggest concern is the Skyward Sword (PAL version), I am almost halfway through the game and I don´t want to lose my progress. My Wii is homebrew enabled, everything is set up properly and I use USB Loader GX to run the wbfs disc dumps from the harddrive.
What I tried so far
- Exporting save from Dolphin to data.bin, moving it to SD card and then trying to copy it via System menu - it cannot be copied
- Exporting save from Dolphin to data.bin, trying to copy it via Save Manager GX - crashes when "Loading data.bin structure" back to USB Loader GX - tried latest 3 revisions
- Copying files (.bin, .dat, .sav files) from Dolphin Wii save folder to SD card and then install it via Save Manager GX - once I do that the save from the Wiii disappears, the game won´t
recognize the save and makes an empty one.
- Enabling Remove NoCopy Save File Protection in Priiloader and the trying all methods mentioned above again - still doesn´t work.
Seriously I don´t know what I am doing wrong, both Dolphin and Wii use the same dumped disc image. When I export the saves from the console it makes exactly the same three files I see in my Dolphin savegame folder. The only thing that is different is that Savegame Manager reports the Wii savegame size as 2 blocks and the imported savefile from Dolphin as 1 block.
I use latest Dolphin revisions from GIT.
