Some of you may know that Dolphin lets you extract an entire GameCube/Wii disc image to a directory (commonly known as FST) by right-clicking into a game and selecting Properties > Filesystem. Keep in mind that I'm really new to this and barely know anything about this format so some information might be inaccurate. This is what it's supposed to look like:
files/ --> Directory of real files, presumably the directory where the actual game is stored
sys/ --> Directory of system files, presumably files required for a game to launch
While you still could launch them on Dolphin with no problems and still provides compatibility with Nintendont, I was wondering if there was any way to convert an FST directory into an ISO as a "good dump". Trying to convert an FST into ISO on Dolphin's built-in converter doesn't work, possibly because Dolphin ignores every other file except for sys/main.dol inside the directory while converting.
I generally use Wimms ISO Tools for conversion, but it doesn't work because it's mostly meant for Wii game discs.
Tried finding it on Google but it returns no results. Is there a way to do this, or is it permanent?
