Ok, I know this question has been asked time and time again, but I'm useless when it comes to this wireless jumbo.

Basicly, I have loads of spare USB cable lying around, and I've also got a wireless sensor bar which takes 4 x AAA batteries.

Now to save myself the bother of buying batteries again and again, can I just connect the two power cables of the USB to the panels of the + and - of where the batteries are supposed to go? Or will it cause a nuclear showdown?

Thanks

Broonie

Yes, that's fine. It's only 5V and if you get it the wrong way, you'll know because nothing will happen (they're diodes don't forget, so if you get the polarisation wrong all that will happen is there will be no current flow).
