Hello everyone,

I have al the files of a wii game in a folder and I always boot it with the main.dol file, now I was questioning if it is possible to convert that to an iso file so that game will show up on the main page of dolphin. Thanks in advance

Depending on how you extracted the files in the first place, you should be able to repack them to a new ISO with wit...

I extracted them with dolphin, because I wanted to add a mod(I couldn't get wit working to patch a mod in) so I replaced the files of the mod with the files of the game. Do you know if there is any tutorial how to repack a game? I couldn't find one.

I don't know how to use wit, but if you add the directory with the main.dolin dolphin's game paths, it will show in the game list. (config, paths, add)

Did you use a recent development version or 5.0 stable? In case you used a current development build, the folder structure Dolphin created when you asked it to extract the game files is already on the, um, "format" that wit expects, so it's just a matter of calling the tool from the command line with the proper arguments and you get a new ISO with the modifications already applied.

In case you used 5.0 stable, the folder structure is different and can't be directly passed to wit, you'll need to manually edit the folder structure to the format wit expects first...

This is actually not possible, because some critical metadata is missing. You would need to re-extract (at least parts of) the game.

So it isn't possible to convert the main.dot into an iso with wit?(I used a recent development version of dolphin) if it isn't possible it wouldn't be a big problem because @Craftyawesome pretty much solved it alhthough it would be nicer to have an iso of the mod.

If you used a recent development version of Dolphin when extracting, then it is possible. It's only if you used an old version of Dolphin that it isn't possible.
