Controls on gamepad totally don't work in game, but succesfuly configured

My computer (with Ubuntu 15.10 x64 and 5.0 version of Dolphin from the official PPA) see the controller, he is working good with AntiMicro (and I used this way to using controller in game), I can configure it in Dolphin settings, but he is totally don't work in game.

What I can do with this?

Is Russian the most popular language ?
You can try background input . I don't know what it means in Russian though

Not yet.

Doesn't planned to show my accurate config, this picture something about proof of words. I can attach screenshot in English, but the buttons positions is accurate in all localisations, and this shouldn't to be necessary.

I am having this same problem with Dolphin 5 in ubuntu linux as well. Gamepad input does not work in game, but it works in the configuration menu. I have tried Dolphin 5 on windows and it works fine with the same hardware, games and settings. (Dualboot computer).

I would rather not have to boot into windows when I want to play a GameCube game so I hope we can get the problem resolved.

Prior to the release of Dolphin 5 I was using 4.02 from the ubuntu repositories and the gamepad worked 100% in that version. I tried the Dolphin 5 version that is in the Ubuntu repositories and I built it from source, both have the gamepad not working in game issue.

If you have any questions or if you need any additional information please let me know.

Try to configure the controller AFTER you open a game, it should work.

This is a known issue on Linux. Only my PS3 controller can be configured before opening a game.

Found the problem, it doesn't like controllers that have spaces at the end of their names.

Glad this was figured out, I was going crazy. I wonder if I can rename my controller somehow in the meantime...

How do I check this out with git ? I'm not as familiar with git as I should be, but I'd like to test the fix.

Edit: Nevermind, I figured it out. Building now. Will advise if it fixes my issue.
