Bug
Hi everybody

This is Fausto from Italy

Let me show to developers all my gratefull for the work done... Angel I found Dolphin very very incredible, not only for the results but for a very active comunity.
I would submit a little bug that i have checked from oldest versions... and not fixed...
Well i use my dolphin whit a simple keybord and after 15/20 minutes of inactivity the game's controls doesn't work..
My setup is very easy.. just the A,B,1,2, +,- and arrows button... no nunchock or else.. just the basic controls to play whit "NSMB" Tongue
I don't know why the controls stop to work after this time elapsed (15/20min) ...
Someone ask why i leave the controls unused for a long time? I don't know... but as so much stuff in life.. this can happen... Big Grin

Unless you're implying the controls cease after said time even whilst you're playing, it wouldnt kill you, i think enabling alternate wiimote timing helps, i think.
......?????

OK.. guys.. i'll say all...

I build a cabinet where i put in a pc and a device called JPAC...
http://www.ultimarc.com/jpac.html

this device (as you can see) allow to control the game by a jamma controls (button and joystick)
All i've done is set the wimote emulated by the keyboard button and set the JPAC by the same controls...
My cabinet work property for 10/15 min.. after this time the control exprired the activity...
i can't add a button for ALT + F5 in the cabinet...

i know.. i can plug a second keyboard just in case.. but.. sound so unusefull...

Well,
I've done other test.
Simply the wimotes still always connected but they don't work.
Alt + F5 at the first press disconnect the wimote.. so This not a connection problem... infact i must press again to Alt + F5
and then it works..
The system suspend the activity of wimotes... can be a save energy set up? may a legacy of original system...?

more confuse and frustrated...

I'm pretty sure the games are simply designed to disconnect wiimotes after inactivity.

Hey man,
i had the same problem with my keyboard, it would disconnect after 5 to 10 minutes, no matter what i was playing.
after i checked the box under Wii for USB keyboard attached it never happend anymore, unless i dont touch anything after 5 minutes.
but that also applies to the rumblepad 2 wich my girl uses.
they other day we played 10 hours non-stop mario kart Tongue (we lost track of time TongueTongue)
not one flaw! i love this sh#t!!
