I just recently started running dolphin. I'm new to the forms of this maybe somewhere else but I haven't found it. I have a Mac and I'm interested in using a controller, is there anything I need to know? Does anyone have a recommendation? I like the Nintendo GameCube controller if it matters..

You could post this in the "controllers" forum.
It needs to plug in via USB one way or another.

The Mayflash 4 port adapter would be a good choice. Dolphin has native support for Wii u adapters which removes input lag and makes them 100 percent accurate to console.

I don't share that first choice option. Mayflash uses drivers and although they try to stay on top of that, drivers can be a pain. There are may other options out there that don't require drivers. The Wii u adapter is the best option if you can get one. Runners up are raphnet and bliss-box. Stay clear of most others like retro link, especial being you are on a mac.
