Controller rapidly connecting and disconnecting ?

Using the stable version of Dolphin 5.0 and an emulated wiimote on Rockband 3. Pressing any inputs quickly disconnects and reconnects the emulated wiimote, its super weird and I don't understand. It makes the game unplayable because it won't register any inputs. I know its Dolphin's fault because my friend is running it fine with practically the same type of setup and .iso.
