Controller partly working

Hi!

Recently I tried out Dolphin 4.0 and 5.0 but I have the same beef with either one: my controller only partly works.

I have ps3, therefore I'm trying to play with a dualshock 3 controller, but nothing seems to work out. I tried everything, different setups in motion in joy, even without that and it always comes to this: only 2 button works. I tried Xenoblade Chronicles and I can only jump and pause the game. Everything is mapped in the controls, in the setup, when I'm configuring the controller everything works perfectly from buttons to control sticks and still, in game it does not. The controller itself works fine.

Please lend me a hand here, I'm at the end of my wits.

Thank you in advance.

What type of emulated controller are you configuring? Wiimote+Nunchuk? Classic Controller?

It would be helpful to see a screenshot of your controller settings.

That's a GameCube controller, which Xenoblade Chronicles isn't compatible with. You need to configure a Wiimote instead.

I tried it but yet again I can only jump and bring up the menu.

You are configuring a Wiimote+Nunchuk (since the Extension slot is set to Nunchuk). Did you configure the Nunchuk's buttons and stick?
