Controller Not Working in Game Instance

I think I figured out my problem. I also have a Logitech Gaming Headset and the controller seems to work when the headset is not also plugged into the computer. As soon as i plug the headset in the controller becomes unresponsive while playing the game. It looks like this is a hardware issue on my end. Thanks for trying to help.
