Controller not working in-game

Hey all!

I´m using a controller from GameStop (with the follwing information printed on it "Advanced Pad", "Model: PC 1000GS" and "made in China"). My problem is that my controller doesn´t work in game. No reaction what so ever. I´m using Dolphin 4.0 for OSX and my game is Zelda: Twilight Princess. I´ve searched for posts dealing with the same problem, but I just found an unanswered post from 2011. Can anyone help me?

Does the controller work in the controller configuration? Did you configure it as a GameCube controller or Wiimote? Are you using the GameCube or Wii version of Twilight Princess?

I use it as a GC-controller and I can configure it. I´m using the GameCube version (-> [removed] ) of the Twilight Princess.
