Controller not working

This is probably a common topic but ive been looking for a couple hours and i cant fix this. No matter what i do my wired xbox 1 controller wont work on dolphin. it works on my other computer (on dolphin) so its not the controller. under GCpad, there are no red dots in the areas where there should be. My computer recognizes the controller in device manager and dolphin allows me to select SDL 0 controller (xbox one controller). The gamecube port is set to standard controller. Any fixes?

You should probably use xinput, not SDL

Use the latest development release. SDL was removed because it was bad.

Which version did you try, the 4.0.2 stable or the 4.0-9237 dev build?
