So had a hankering to play Skies of Arcadia and since the recent flooding took out my old game hardware I figured I'd give emulation a go. It seems to work okay but while playing with my controller but its config seems to keep pulling up the emulator menus mid game and kicking me out. I have a current work around in that I have Xpadder to give controller support to another game so I'm using that to have my controller emulate keyboard inputs and then using the keyboard inputs into the emulator controller port but it seems there should be a way to do this in the emulator but all my searches for these forums/google and self experimentation (admittedly little of the self experimenting since I do have a usable work around) haven't turned up an answer yet.

What menu is it pulling up exactly? Have you checked to make sure you didn't make a hotkey on your controller that does it?

Well I am using basically stock from the install so I'll check on that. As for what pulls up when I hit the start button it asks me if I want to end my Dolphin session or something to that effect. Basically do I want to quit. and when I hit y it opens the view menu on the emulator

That seems to have solved my biggest issue. Thanks for letting me know where the default hokey binds are. No only did it fix my issue now I have a nice tool to improve my experience to work with that I probably wouldn't have stumbled across for a few more weeks.
