controller issues

HAVING ISSUES WITH Dolphin-x64
or any version 5.XX

game loads and works ok
when i go to configure controller it works in the config box
but doesn't make player move in game
is the movement meant to be set in the controller part or the wii remote part
have tried this with x box 360 controller and ps4 wired and wireless
is their some trick to get the analogue sticks to work as i can make the the buttons work
but no movement of player

The game is destroy all humans big willy
just don't no where I've gone wrong works and player moves with keyboard but not controller

Please post your controller configuration. Also, you will need to set it up as a wiimote, not a standard controller.
