Hey everyone!
Alright, so here are the details :
Dolphin SVN 4347
Laptop [don't know if this is pertinent. probably isn't.]
OS : Windows Vista SP2 64-bit
CPU : Q9000 2.0GHz Quad-Core
GPU : ATI HD4850's in Crossfire
RAM : 4GB at 1066MHz
Controller : PS3 Sixaxis Controller through USB port. [using Libusb drivers]
Currently, I'm playing Viewtiful Joe [such a fun game] and it runs great on the build I'm using [especially with the DX9 graphics plugin] - great work! There are occasional errors, but I don't mind them too much; it's great to be able to play this game again.
The one issue that is troublesome is the fact that the emulator won't let me hold a button down for an extended amount of time. [I assume it's the emulator, because when I go into my external gamepad configuration utility to check if my buttons are all working, it reflects that I am consistently holding down the button]. Essentially, in-game, it acts like I'm holding down the button then arbitrarily releasing the button and immediately pressing the button again. To illustrate, let's assume I'm holding the button. In-game, it's recognized as ONNNNN-off-ONN-off-ONNNN-off-ON-off-ON-off-ONNNNN.
Any ideas on how to rectify this? [There is a good possibility that it might be my controller drivers, however, these were the only drivers I could find that were compatible with Vista x64 SP2]
Thanks for your help, guys!
