Controller issue

Hi guys, I'm trying to get my ps3 controller to work with Dolphin but having no luck

I followed this vid - http://youtu.be/AJ2RKrCncwM

I downloaded motioninjoy, installed the drivers and enabled it. Seems to work fine in motioninjoy, test it the buttons work, vibrates etc.

However, when I go into Dolphin it's like the pad isn't there. It doesn't show up in GCpad at all, doesn't react when I push buttons, the "sticks" aren't a red dot

Was just hoping anyone might have an idea as to what's happening

First of all, don't use motion in joy. Use the SCP drivers. Open source, easier to use, no ads, you don't have to fool with a program every time to use bluetooth, run by a nice guy who will answer questions and talk with you, and much more reliable over all.

Secondly, it sounds like you didn't select the device in the device dropdown. Here's a guide that should help.
