Operating System: OSX 10.7.4
Processor/CPU: 2.53 GHz Intel Core i5
Video Card/GPU: 8 GB 1067 MHz DDR3
Memory/RAM: Corsair 2x4GB
Dolphin Revision Currently Using: 3.0-774

I purchased a Trust GXT 24 compact game pad so that I could play Skies of Arcadia: Legends.

When I open the GC controller mapping pane, it opens and saves fine. But, as soon as I start the game it no longer works. When I go back to the GC controller pane, the settings are saved, but it no longer responds to the controller. I tried with and without Gamepad Companion.

The game does function with the keyboard.

I have a feeling it might be one of those OSX issues that are unsolvable, but I thought it was worth a try asking. I did search and look through some threads, but none seemed to have the exact problem I'm having.

Thanks in advance!

I'm not entirely familiar with the way in which that gamepad works. Does it send inputs as an HID compliant device or map it to the keyboard? In other words, does the mapping say "Button01" or "K"?

It maps as button01, etc for the buttons, and z axis, etc for the c-stick and main stick, and up, etc for the d pad. Here's a screenshot (but I forgot to map the D pad because it's not used in this game).

I did finally find a work-around in an ancient bug report (here), but I was wondering now if there's a permanent fix?
